Today it is National Garfield the cat Day!!!

So, today I've got my Zoom meeting at 10:30a, and then, my bath... and then, I will watch Dumb & Dumber after lunch and of course I will sim... I may play the Sims 3.. for my DW readers I usually post the stories at my LJ which is in my link list. I will put my DW link in my LJ link list too... confusing! LOL

Back is still hurting... my dog (still a puppy but a big puppy) Ollie (seen here) saw me eating watermelon and started jumping on me trying to get it.I have bruising from his claws on my legs. And I must have arched my back too far... ah well.. it will heal... I hope.

Summer is almost here.. and Father's Day too. My own father lives in B.C. and I have no contact with him. 😑😥 Which sucks... thanks Mom. /sarcasm

Happy Garfield the Cat Day!

I'm here, not really celebrating Juneteenth Day, which is June 19, today. Normally the black community has a lot going on: parades, picnics, etc. and sometimes I'm invited to something. Nothing much happening this year, as you'd expect.

I'll say a toast to both Garfield and Juneteenth this evening.

Juneteenth has been happening since 1865, but white people are only finding out about it now. It's an excellent holiday, NOT based on some old white guy's war, and some states are talking about making it a paid holiday for everyone. I think they should.
